The Wonder Bread Summer: A Novel by Jessica Anya Blau
Oh, this book! I wish everyone would read it and love it - that's how much I LOVE IT! It's a perfect summer read, a fabulous love letter to the eighties, and a crazy pants adventure tale that starts with a stolen bag of coke. Yep.

The Spellman Files: Document #1 (The Spellmans series) by Lisa Lutz
This first in Lutz's amazingly wonderful PI series cemented her as a must read author for me. I love the Spellmans and miss them. *sniff*

First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson Book 1) by Darynda Jones
Darynda Jones's grim reaper series is one part mystery, one part paranormal, a smidge of romance, and a ton of fun!

One for the Money (Stephanie Plum, No. 1) (Stephanie Plum Novels) by Janet Evanovich
I haven't kept up with this series at all but the first few knocked my socks off they were so much fun! If you're looking for a light mystery and lots of laughs, you can't go wrong.

Stretch: The Unlikely Making of a Yoga Dude by Neal Pollack
I almost never read non fiction, but this one came to me at just the right time. Pollack's yoga memoir is the kind of book that you'll find yourself reading out loud to anyone who will listen!

One Plus One: A Novel by Jojo Moyes
Jojo Moyes won hearts with ME BEFORE YOU but this one was the first I read. It's charming and sweet and super fun!

Heads You Lose by Lisa Lutz
Another Lisa Lutz title! This one is cowritten with David Hayward and includes footnotes and conversations between the two authors. This book is completely unique and absolutely hilarious!

The Rook by Daniel O'Malley
O'Malley's debut hit shelves back in 2012 and the sequel is due out this summer. It's a quirky cross genre read that's always stuck out as a favorite of mine and I can't wait to continue the story this summer!

Happy Hour of the Damned by Mark Henry
Mark Henry's fashionista zombie adventures were raunchy and hilarious fun. I do wish they'd caught on with more readers because I definitely would have loved to see more of Amanda Feral.

Apocalypse Cow by Michael Logan
Zombie cows! Zombie cows, people! I mean, really, what could be more fun?!
