For the 12/8/15 Top Ten Tuesday Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish Read more on Riffle
Something Red: A Novel by Douglas Nicholas
This one's been out for a while but the third in the series released this year, prompting me to read them all. Excellent historical fiction with a supernatural twist!

No One Gets Out Alive: A Novel by Adam Nevill
Nevill isn't actually completely new-to-me for 2015 but this marked the year I finally read his work. I'm sorry I waited so long but now I have a stack to binge on :)
2 / 10
Love Is Red (The Nightsong Trilogy) by Sophie Jaff
This first in a new trilogy was quite a surprise. It's a dark mystery/thriller with horror and fantasy undertones, and a steamy romance to boot.
3 / 10
Daughters unto Devils (Harlequin Teen) by Amy Lukavics
A debut compared to King and Little House on the Prairie, it was weird and creepy and wonderful. I can't wait for more from Lukavics!

Disclaimer: A Novel by Renée Knight
Another surprise read, Disclaimer is dark, dark, dark and Knight has a fabulous talent. Definitely looking forward to more from her.
5 / 10
The Mall (Downside) by S.L. Grey
Another little cheat as half of S.L. Grey is Sarah Lotz (who I first read at the end of 2014) but this was my first time cracking open a Grey title and it was fantastic! Snarky horror set in a world you couldn't pay me to visit. I want more!
6 / 10
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
A bit of a bright note in my admittedly dark TTT this week (with Ana for company). Yoon's debut was sweet and heartwarming with a heroine so charming she appeals to just about everyone who reads her story!
7 / 10
Blood and Salt (A Blood and Salt Novel) by Kim Liggett
Ok, Liggett had me at Children of the Corn meets Romeo and Juliet. I love rural/folk horror and this hit the spot 100%. I'm dying to read the follow up AND Liggett's other promised forthcoming work (Friday Night Lights meets Rosemary's Baby!).
8 / 10
Ana of California: A Novel by Andi Teran
A modern retelling of Anne of Green Gables and I loved it!
9 / 10
The Art of Crash Landing: A Novel (P.S. (Paperback)) by Melissa DeCarlo
Decarlo won me over pretty immediately with her wonderful main character. This is a quirky family drama-ish tale and a must for anyone looking for a great feel good read.
